Finishing up March crates and Urinary System

Science:
We finished up the digestive system and some of our family had the unfortunate opportunity to experience a digestive virus. Landen got to experience what it feels like when the digestive system is not working properly.

We did a quick unit on the Urinary System! We colored our bladders and kidneys and read about the system. I can't believe we only have two more months and two more units!

Tech:
Doodle Crate (Kaylee): I finished my two other journals and now I have three! It was really fun making my own paper and then turning them into journals. I love to write so this was a really fun project for me!

Tinker Crate (Landen): I read my tinkerzine and learned more about simple machines. I also did an experiment where I added different amounts of weight and turned the knob. I used batteries for weights.

Elective:
Arts and Crafts (Kaylee): I added a few more rows to my other slipper. They are coming along.

Building Machines (Landen): I made a truck. It is cool because it transforms into a garage to fix other vehicles..

  1. Hi there! Sorry to hear some of the family had to deal with a stomach "bug". Not fun at all!
Have you written in more than one of the journals you made? I think it's really neat how you made paper! Yes, the slippers are coming along...they're getting more colorful each time I see them. It will be fun to see them completed and on your feet!
Landen, I always like to see what you have have built during the week. I like how most things you build can transform or have more than one purpose. Awesome!
I hope you have a fantastic week!
