Cake and Candy Cell Models

     We learned about cells in science class. There are many different types of cells. And they all have their own unique life spans. 

    

    For example, the white blood cells that fight germs have a life span of less than a day, and skin cells have a life span of about 30 days. Did you know? Some nerve cells have a life span of a whole lifetime!

Welcome Back 2020-2021

This is Kleos Academy. It is a Greek word that translates into renown or famous. It basically means, "what others hear about you." Greek heroes earn Kleos by doing good things. We like this name for our school because we will learn great things in school that can help us do great things in life. 

It is also the first letter of all our names: Kaylee, Landen, Emberly, Owen, and Shiloh.
