Wrapping up February Crates and the Digestive System

Science:
This week we began the digestive system! We played a trivia game and learned a lot of fun facts about the human body!

We learned that the digestive system starts in your mouth because saliva begins breaking down food. We also learned when you blush, your stomach blushes too because blood flows to your face and stomach.

My favorite fact I learned is that sneezing can send particles flying out of your nose at yp to 100 miles per hour!

Tech:
Doodle Crate (Kaylee): I finished my last basket which wraps up my February Crate. Our March crates arrived and I am so excited to show you what I will be doing next week!

Tinker Crate (Landen): I finished the last extra activity for my catapult project. It is a bowling game!

Elective:
Arts and Crafts (Kaylee):
This week I started working on the soles of my slippers.

Building Machines (Landen): I got this really cool stem building set for my birthday! It has several projects. This week I built a tank, it really moves across the floor!

  1. Hi there! I can hardly believe our stomach blushes...interesting! Now we know why we cover our mouths when we sneeze. 100 miles an hour is extremely fast!
Which basket did you like making the best? What are you putting in that last basket? I'm sure anxious to see your completed slippers!
Landen, I talked about the bowling game last week...I looked ahead and then wrote my comments last time. Oops! Anyway, I think the bowling game is awesome! I bet you had fun making the tank...pretty cool that it moves across the floor. Where do you keep the machines you've made?
I didn't look ahead this time, so now I'll check out the next week! Here some kisses and hugs for all! XO XO XO XO XO XO XO
