Lung Expansion and January Crates Week #2

Science:
This week we learned about lung expansion by placing one hand on our chest and the other on our stomach. We learned about deep breathing and felt the movements under our hands. We read about oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange within the body.

Tech:
Doodle Crate (Kaylee): I rinsed out my projects and hung them up to dry.

There is one, maybe two circles, as you can see. The rest basically looks like tie dye, which is cool.

This is cool. There are a few missing lines, but it worked out. Mostly. I also dyed a pair of socks and an undershirt.
Tinker Crate (Landen):
This week I built the crank to my project.

Elective:

Arts and Crafts (Kaylee):
I learned how to sew on a zipper and I made a sleeping bag (liner). It can be used inside of a sleeping bag, or by itself in warmer weather. I outgrew my old one and gave it to my little sister so we made a new one for me!
Sewing!

I love mermaids, so my mom and I found this cool fabric that kind of looks like mermaid scales!

It's soft!!!

Building Machines (Landen):

This is a fire truck and a fire plane. Here, an apartment is on fire!

  1. I like the square tie dye. It's so cool how unique it looks! You know I'm excited to hear you're sewing. Do you enjoy it? The sleeping bag does look like a mermaid tail.
Looks like Landen is having fun with the Lego and, also, his tinker crate stuff!
    Love you guys!
