Cardiovascular System, Blood Typing and More

Science:
We finished the Respiratory System by reading about different respiratory disorders. We started our next unit: The Cardiovascular System! We are so excited to be learning about the heart and blood. This week we did an experiment: Blood Typing!

Tech:
Kaylee: This week because I finished my Doodle Crate, I constructed a toy zipline. I made a paper box for the weights to fit in. I used dice for weights. I found that the more dice I added to the box, the faster it would fall. I experimented with different amounts and found that 2 was just the right weight, not too heavy to drag on the ground as it traveled and not too light to get stuck on the line.

Tinker Crate (Landen): This week I finished my January Crate and here is the finished project! I also innovated it by adding the pencil structures along the edges so that the balls would not fall off of the back.

Elective:
Arts and Crafts (Kaylee): This week I scrapbooked my 2nd Birthday! It was a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium! It was fun.. I was told. (I don't remember)

Building Machines (Landen): This week I made a pioneer handcart. Here is it unloaded and loaded.

  1. Looks like another fun week! I liked the zip line and handcart. You had a good helper for the zip line demonstration.😘
I bet a person could watch the balls moving for quite a while!
    Do you like scrapbooking?
    I love you guys!
